Electrolux HUSH Happier at Home

When I was young, I always look forward to having a great weekend with my friends. We start our Saturdays in front of the television for our week’s dose of Saturday Fun Machine. It’s like my generation’s Cartoon Network in a very limited two hours. Our afternoon will divided to playing taguan, tumbang preso, luksong tinik, patintero and other old school games. A replay of the same schedule will happen the following day.

Two decades after, my weekends have become so much different than before. Well, I still get a taste of cartoon programs from time to time and even fantasize playing jolens, sipa or piko but would really look silly so I just keep it to myself. And besides, pain reliever and liniments are not cheap anymore so I do have second thoughts playing another game of luksong baka or play tag.

But I’ll tell you this… I’ve never been this excited about the weekends. Nope, it's not an out of town trip or a bar hopping escapade with friends that makes my excite meter up for my two days off from work. Actually, I usually spend that 48 hours at home for a quiet and relaxing moment with my family.

Thanks to fatherhood ‘coz life has never been this challengingly fun! Five days in front of the PC is not really an ideal job but having the photo of my son Charles as my monitor's wallpaper lessens the ill filling. After all, my little one and my wife are the two main reasons why I work hard and try to survive every workplace hazards like the deadlines, stress, pressures, and the blah blah blahs… you know what I’m talking about.

That is why I cherish every moment of weekends since I only get to spend quality time with my son a few hours on a working day. I am always high and pumped up every time the clock hits 6 pm every Friday. Through the photos below, allow me to share how super my weekends are even if the only happenings in our home are the same hush moments my family does week after week.

Silently, I watched in awe how my 3-year old knows the lyrics and dance steps of every character who perform over the Disney Junior cable channel.
Quietly, we still cheer for our favorite team even though the whole basketball world is already giving up on them after what could have been their worst season for in years.

Calmly, I still manage to find joy in a wet pants and messy shirt after our little boss forgot he's not wearing diapers and the tub his playing with still has ice cream in it.

With little or no sound, my wife and I see it as a challenge to perform our household chores while our son sleeps. This "superhuman" ability earned me a monicker from my wife. I am Captain C, the Champion of Cloth ironing, Cleaning the house and Cooking. Thanks for our favorite brand Electrolux for making my job easier.
And the best thing I love about spending weekend at home, it always feel magic when the most important person in your life softly told me, "I love you, Daddy!" in a middle of his favorite song.
I won't mind spending every moment of my Saturdays and Sundays with my family because I can't think of any other better weekend than to just being with them.

As my family takes our journey towards a better life, we want to make sure that we are equipped with things that will help our everyday adventures fun, unforgettable and relaxing. We started by making sure that we are using the right appliances in our house. One brand that you can find in almost every room is Electrolux--- a flat iron in our bed room, induction cooker and microwave oven in our kitchen and a vacuum cleaner in our living room.

I am pretty sure that Electrolux will continue to be part of our home with the many innovative products that they come up every year. Two new products that caught my attention are the Ultra Silencer Green and Powermix Silent Blender simply because they fit perfectly to the quite and relaxing weekend that I always look forward.

I am satisfied with the Electrolux Dynama vacuum cleaner that we are using in our house but when I found out about the Ultra Silencer Green, I told my self that this is the way to level up. Not only that it's more eco-friendly, it also bring peace and harmony into every home with its revolutionary floor care. It has a minimal noise level of only 68db and cleans exhaust air by more than 99.99%.

Our kitchen will definitely welcome with open arms the Powermix Silent Blender that has a patented Sound Reduction System and Airflow System that promises users to have conversations while creating the perfect blend.

Now, that's what we call Hush Happier at Home!

SkinWhite and Nuffnang bring you Snow White and the Huntsman

Let me get this straight before you go straight reading this post: I am straight.  Although one time in my life I actually hoped that I was Kristen Stewart even just for a day.

In was in 2010 when I saw this movie "The Runaway" starring Kristen. The actress locked lips with not one but three lovely ladies in the movie in which she plays legendary rocker Joan Jett.  She got intimate with Dakota Fanning (I am Sam), Alessandra Torresani (TV's Caprica) and Stella Maeve (Manson Girls) in the film. That's just about any guy's dream (I suppose)--- kissing 3 different yet equally gorgeous girls without no commitments afterwards (specially if you are already married like me).

Well, of course I lost the illusion when Kristen started dating Robert Pattinson.  And there's Taylor Lautner on the side. Yiiii... I can barely survive chasing my 3-year old son running all over the house so there's absolutely no more others boys allowed in my domain now.

Now, I heard Kristen is playing the lead role in the film Snow White and the Huntsman (which will have a special screening on June 1 at Shangri-La Mall Cineplex courtesy of SkinWhite Nuffnang Philippines). As if she is not yet a big star from the Twilight series, now she's back with another sure hit  in a role that many young actors (I'm not included) hope to get.

Well, if you want to be Snow White, you need to be white as a snow (yes, it's pretty obvious but I am actually just doing a good segue). But don't you worry in case you are not gifted with a skin ala-Kristen Stewart. Just go to your favorite grocery store or beauty shop and the answer is there waiting for you.

Experience the power of whitening with SkinWhite whitening range. Scientifically formulated to deliver safe and effective whitening in as early as 2 weeks! SkinWhite has SYNCHROWHITE ACTION that works in FOUR ways all the time:

WHITENS the skin’s surface

REDUCES formation of new dark pigments at its source

NOURISHES skin with Vitamins

PROTECTS skin against toxins and UV rays.

Now, this is definitely one great product for those looking for a prince charming. Because with SkinWhite, you'll definitely have that beautiful blush white skin and you'll be a head-turner in no time. Let's say I'll be Kristen Stewart for a day but I have my kayumanggi skin and wanted to have a fair white complexion so I won't look unnoticed standing beside a Caucasian prince charming, I need a remedy to at least level my skin tone with him (or you'll regret having taken a photo next to him). That's one magic whitening lotion like SkinWhite can bring.

TGIF? Not this Friday

image taken from sportnooz.com

Today is one of the busiest Fridays of my life.

I needed to wake up at 5 am this morning because I have a breakfast meeting in Makati. But before I go there, I should go first to our office in Mandaluyong to update my materials not for that 8 am meet up but for another field work this morning.

We finished the meeting past 10 am (yes!) and off I go to my second assignment. I saw this cab driver waving at me as go out Pacific Star building only to be boxed out by a woman on heels sipping a mocha frap. Being the gentleman that I am, I just gave her the "I-should-be-the-one-sitting-in-thet-taxi look." After 20 minutes I finally got my ride.

Back to the office around 2 pm delivered by a cab which gave me that oven-like experience. I know the aircon was on but my morning breath is cooler that what it burst out if I to compare.

I missed meryenda today and haven't stop doing paper works, poster lay-out, email, etc since I went inside my cubicle. It's already 6:11 and I am not yet done with work. Now tell me if it's TGIF?

I only got to smile when I got a text message from my wife saying "Ingat sa pag-uwi. I love you!"

Which made me think, it's not a bad Friday at all. :-)

Now back to work mode.
